2D Animation
Some students tried their hand at 2D animation shorts. Given the learning curve, the unforgiving nature of 2D animation, the short time allotted, and the challenges involved, I’m impressed every year when student are able to complete even a 10 second animation with the time given. Two of the students have previous animation experience, but four days is a tall order to fill.

2D Games
Some of students decided to make a game, and just like with the animation, there is a deep learning curve, but thankfully the game engine is a little more forgiving for new comers and it helps in some areas. Some of the kids are former students from HCC College for Kids program and have taken my Game Maker class before. Can you tell from playing the games which one have prior game maker experience?
